John Cheney, Co-President
John Cheney is a 30-year veteran of the office technology industry and joined Knight Office Solutions in 2003 after a distinguished career with a major imaging company. Cheney’s experience in sales, sales management and leadership made an immediate impact on the firm, and ushered in an era of significant growth. As Co-President, Cheney also helps shape the company’s culture: One that places the highest emphasis on customer support, and one that encourages a healthy work-life balance. John is married to Sherri and they have two grown children.
Mitch Huffman, Co-President
Mitch Huffman founded Knight Office Solutions in a San Antonio garage in November 1990. Established in the midst of an economic recession, Huffman’s bootstrapped venture quickly won over customers by providing an alternative to high-priced toner cartridges. Impressed by Knight’s commitment to value, customers soon began asking for other services. Over the years, the company evolved to meet its customers’ changing needs, first adding equipment sales, then document management, and later, managed IT services. Mitch is married to Maiya and they have two children.
